Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Attends Ramadan Iftar Banquet with Iraqi community in Jordan

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein, participated in a Ramadan Iftar banquet hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Amman, on Saturday March 8, 2025, with the attendance of members of the Iraqi community in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

In his speech during the banquet, the Minister expressed his happiness to meet the Iraqi elites in Jordan, affirming the government’s keenness to look after the Iraqi communities abroad considering them the true ambassadors of Iraq, as well the Minister commended their cultural and creative role in highlighting the ancient civilization of Iraq. 

Minister Hussein indicated that the opening of the national card system in Amman and a number of other Iraqi missions facilitated many procedures for Iraqis abroad, stressing the Ministry’s determination to continue providing more consular facilities.

On his part, the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Mr. Omer Al Barzanji, commended the Minister’s great attention for the Iraqi communities and his keenness to directly with them.
