Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein Participates in Arab Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Cairo

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein, participated in the Arab Foreign Ministers’ Meeting which was held on Monday 3 March 2025, in the Egyptian capital Cairo.
The meeting discussed plans for the reconstruction of Gaza, as Egypt presented a comprehensive roadmap for this purpose. As well the ministers discussed the challenges facing the region, with attaching special importance on providing urgent housing for all residents of the Gaza Strip, in addition to setting timetables for implementing reconstruction projects.
In this context, Minister Hussein affirmed in his speech during the meeting, the importance of solidarity and assist joint efforts to reconstruct Gaza and bring stability to the region, in addition the Minister underlined the need to provide a safe environment in Gaza and the region to begin the reconstruction process.
The Egyptian roadmap indicated the importance of coordinating Arab and international efforts to secure the necessary funding for reconstruction projects, with ensuring rapid implementation and the quality of projects to meet the needs of the affected population. The ministers also discussed ways to enhance Arab cooperation in facing the political and economic challenges affecting the region.
This meeting comes as part of the ongoing Arab efforts to achieve stability and development, support the Palestinian cause in international forums, and prepare for the extraordinary Arab summit.
