Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Inaugurates Unified National Identity Card Issuance Center at Iraqi Embassy in Cairo

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein, inaugurated the unified national card issuance center at the consular section of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Cairo, on Sunday 2 March 2025, as part of the Iraqi government’s commitment to simplifying administrative procedures and providing the best services to members of the Iraqi community, ensuring speed, accuracy and transparency in completing consular transactions.

The total number of Iraqi missions in which national card issuance centers will be opened is (26) missions, and this service has been launched in eight missions so far, including the Iraqi Embassy in Cairo, meanwhile work is underway to complete the opening of other centers in 18 missions abroad in the near future.
