Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Receives a Copy of Credentials of Kuwait’s Ambassador to Iraq

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein received a copy of the credentials of the new Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Iraq Mr. Hassan Mohammad Al Zaman, on 7 January 2025. During the meeting Minister Hussein welcomed Kuwait’s Ambassador and wished him success in performing his duties to further advance bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries across various areas.

As well the Minister affirmed the depth of the historical and social ties that unite Iraq and Kuwait, stressing the importance of joint work to develop bilateral collaboration to serve common interests. 

On his part, Ambassador Al Zaman conveyed the greetings of the Kuwaiti leadership to the Iraqi government, and expressed his aspiration to work on strengthening bilateral cooperation and consolidating fraternal relations between the two countries.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides expressed their keenness to continue coordination and consultation on issues of common concern at the regional and international levels.
