Ambassador Safia Al Souhail Signs a Cooperation Programme Between Foreign Service Institute and Prince Saud Al Faisal Institute for Diplomatic Studies

The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ms. Safia Taleb Al Souhail, announced the signing of a joint cooperation program between the Foreign Service Institute of the Iraqi Foreign Ministry and Prince Saud Al Faisal Institute for Diplomatic Studies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The signing took place during an official ceremony that brought together Ambassador Al Souhail and the Rector of Prince Saud Al-Faisal Institute for Diplomatic Studies Dr. Mushabbab Al-Qahtani. The program aims to enhance cooperation between the two brotherly countries in the areas of diplomatic and administrative training, through the exchange of experiences and the organization of specialized training programs to develop institutional and diplomatic staffs in both countries.

The signing ceremony was attended by the ambassador’s deputy Mr. Khaled Al-Khizran, along with the counselor of the political section at the embassy Mr. Ali Al-Hamdani and Mr. Marwan Al-Hayani, in addition to Dr. Rima Al-Dosari, Supervisor of the International Cooperation Department at the Saudi Institute of Public Administration.

This program is a strategic step towards strengthening bilateral relations between Iraq and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and confirms the commitment of both countries to develop effective partnerships in the fields of training and institutional capacity development. It also reflects their common keenness to achieve mutual interests and build a prosperous future that serves the peoples of the two countries.
