Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Receives Kuwaiti Deputy Foreign Minister to Discuss Bilateral Cooperation and Regional Issues

On 16 December 2024, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein received Kuwaiti Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah and his accompanying delegation, which included Sheikh Nimr Fahad Al Sabah Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil, and Ambassador Salem Al Zamanan Assistant Foreign Minister.

The meeting dealt with the main challenges that faces the region at the political, security and economic levels. As well the two sides touched on the work of the Iraqi-Kuwaiti Higher Committee, with a view to discussing issues of common concern and ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.
