Iraq’s Ambassador to Abu Dhabi Meets Ministers of State in UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the United Arab Emirates Dr. Mudhafar Mustafa Al Jubouri, met on 28 October 2024, with the Minister of State of the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affirs, Khalifa Bin Shaheen Almarar, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi. The meeting came as part of discussing ways to enhance bilateral relations between the Republic of Iraq and the United Arab Emirates, in light of the current regional developments.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed regional challenges and the political and economic conditions in the region, stressing the importance of joint cooperation between the two brotherly countries. The Ambassador and the UAE Minister of State commended the depth of the historical ties between the two countries, stressing the need to strengthen these relations to serve the common interests of their peoples.
Ambassador Al Jubouri indicted the importance of advanicing bilateral cooperation in light of the positive constructive steps and distinguished relations of partnership between both countries, praising the joint efforts to expand the horizons of cooperation and strengthen partnerships across all fields.
On his part, Minister of State Al Marar stressed the keenness of the UAE leadership to enhance and develop relations with the brotherly Republic of Iraq to serve common interests.
At the end of the meeting both sides affirmed the importance of continuing consultation and coordination in all areas, to achieve security and stability in the region, and enhance prosperity and sustainable development.
