Undersecretary for Administrative and Technical Affairs Meets Austrian Foreign Ministry Delegation

On Monday, September 23, 2024, the Undersecretary for Administrative and Technical Affairs Dr. Ahmed Nayef Al Dulaimi received a delegation from the Austrian Foreign Ministry headed by Ambassador Sigrid Berka Director General for Administrative Affairs and Ambassador Gerold Vollmer the Director of Arab Gulf States, Near and Middle East and North Africa Affairs, as well the Austrian Ambassador to Iraq Mr. Andrea Nasi, at the Ministry’s headquarters.

Undersecretary Al Dulaimi welcomed the Austrian delegation and commended their visit to the Republic of Iraq. The two sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations between both countries and aspects of joint cooperation.

As well the delegation extended their thanks and appreciation to the Iraqi Foreign Ministry for the provided facilities in reopening the Austrian Embassy in Baghdad. At the end of the meeting the delegation expressed their gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality. It’s worth noting that this visit comes one year after the reopening of the Austrian embassy in Baghdad.
