Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Discusses Enhancing Cooperation with his Omani Counterpart in Muscat

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein met with his Omani counterpart His Excellency Badr bin Hamad Albusaidi in Muscat on September 16, 2024. ‎The meeting highlighted the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, in addition both sides stressed the need to expedite the convening of the joint committee in Baghdad during this year, with the aim of signing a number of memorandums of understanding that serve the interests of the two brotherly countries.

‎On his part the Omani Foreign Minister expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by Iraq to build bridges of cooperation and confidence, and its pursuit to develop tourism, health security, and other sectors, including private sector development.
