Undersecretary for Multilateral and Legal Affairs Receives Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Iraq

On Wednesday, September 11, 2024, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Multilateral and Legal Affairs Mr. Omer Al Barzenji received the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Iraq Mr. Nasir Mammadov, at the Ministry’s headquarters.

During the meeting the two sides discussed issues of mutual interest, including the exchange of support in international organizations, and cooperation in the field of combating terrorism.

The discussion also touched on the mutual visits between the two countries, with a focus on the upcoming visit of the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister to Baghdad.
