Head of Political Planning Department Meets Director General of Middle Eastern Directorate at Singapore Foreign Ministry

The Acting Head of Political Planning Department Counselor Haider Sultan met with Mr. Samuel Tan Director General of the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia Directorate at Singapore’s Foreign Ministry, and his accompanying delegation at the Iraqi Foreign Ministry’s Headquarters.

The meeting dealt with means of strengthening bilateral relations between both friendly countries and advancing economic and trade partnerships, as Singapore has extensive experience at various sectors’ including construction, infrastructure and banking as Iraq seeks to attract foreign investments at various sectors.

At the end of the meeting Mr. Sultan extended his thanks to Director General Tan for his visit, expressing his willingness to enhance contact and hold more future meetings between officials of both countries.

The meeting was attended by the deputy head of neighboring countries Mr. Ammar Majeed Jihad.
