Iraqi Ambassador in Cairo Discusses Arab Cooperation with Arab League’s Assistant Secretary General

The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Cairo and Permanent Representative to the Arab League Dr. Qahtan Taha Khalaf, met with Arab League’s Assistant Secretary-General for Legal Affairs Ambassador Dr. Mohamed Al Amin Weld Kik, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Cairo. During the meeting a number of joint Arab issues were discussed, with reinforcing the importance of strengthening Arab cooperation in confronting the Israeli occupation of Arab lands. Additionally, Emphasis was placed on the Arab peoples’ rejection of the crimes and violations committed by the occupation against the Palestinians, especially in the Gaza Strip.
