Undersecretary for Multilateral and Legal Affairs Receives Russian Embassy Charge d’Affaires

The Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Multilateral and Legal Affairs Mr. Mr. Omer Al Berzinji received the Charge d’Affaires at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Baghdad, Mr. Andrey Aristov, at the Ministry’s headquarters on Tuesday, August 13, 2024.

The meeting revolved around ways to enhance bilateral relations between both countries across various fields, including political, economic and cultural affairs. The two sides also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common concern, and the meeting discussed mutual support regarding nominations in international organizations.

On his part, the Chargé d’Affaires stressed his country’s keenness to cooperate with Iraq at all levels.
