Undersecretary for Bilateral Relations Discusses Enhancing Bilateral Cooperation with Pakistani Ambassador

Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Bilateral Relations Ambassador Mohammed Hussain Mohammed Bahr Al Uloom received the Pakistani Ambassador to Iraq Mr. Muhammad Zeeshan Ahmad, at the Ministry’s headquarters on Monday, July 29, 2024. As part of the meeting the two side discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations and expand the frameworks of cooperation across various fields, and emphasized the importance of exchanging high-level visits between the two countries. 

The two sides discussed the possibility of cooperation in the security field, in addition to the issue of Pakistani visitors entering Iraq to visit the holy shrines, in this context the Undersecretary stressed the need for joint bilateral cooperation to facilitate the granting for entry visas by legal means, allowing visitors to enter Iraq to visit and return to their homeland legally, thereby avoiding any legal problems.
