Ambassador of Iraq to Arab League Receives Assistant Secretary General

Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Cairo, and its Permanent Representative to the Arab League Dr. Qahtan Taha Khalaf, received Ambassador Mohand Salah Ladjouzi, Assistant Secretary General of the League of Arab States and Director General of Arab Fund, for Technical Aid to African Countries.

The meeting touched on several Arab and regional issues. Ambassador Khalaf expressed his appreciation for the role and tasks of the Fund and its work mechanisms, stressing Iraq’s support for all initiatives and assistance provided to brothers and friends, especially those provided under the League of Arab States umbrella.

On his part, Ambassador Ladjouzi commended the effective role of the Republic of Iraq in supporting the Fund, and congratulated the Ambassador on assuming his new tenure.
