Statement

The Foreign Ministry expresses the Republic of Iraq’s welcoming of the International Court of Justice opinion, in response to the request made by the United Nations General Assembly, regarding the statement of the Advisory Opinion on the practices of the “Israeli entity” that affects the human rights of the Palestinian people in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The Ministry stresses the importance of respecting the historic Advisory Opinion issued by ICJ, and accepting the legal components contained therein, to enhance efforts aimed at restoring stability in the Palestinian territories and the Middle East.
