Iraqi Ambassador to Spain Visits Andalusia Region and Meets with Presidents and Members of Malaga and Granada Chamber of Commerce

Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Spain Dr. Saleh Hussein Ali Al Tamimi, visited the Andalusia region and met with the Presidents and members of the Malaga and Granada Chamber of Commerce. The meeting was attended by several heads and representatives of companies operating in the two cities

During the meeting, Ambassador Al Tamimi reviewed the projects implemented by the Iraqi government across various fields, calling on companies in Malaga to invest in Iraq. He indicated the government’s vision and orientations to open the way for large and prestigious companies to invest in development projects in the fields of construction and services.

On their part, the attendees expressed their companies’ willingness to work in Iraq and provide assistance in transferring and exchanging experiences between the two sides.

The Presidents of the Chamber of Commerce in Malaga and Granada gave a brief explanation of tourism in the city, noting that it is considered one of the most important tourist cities in the world and receives about 22 million tourists through its airport annually, in addition they expressed their readiness to transfer the city’s expertise in the field of tourism to Iraq.
