Undersecretary for Bilateral Relations Receives Czech Ambassador on Occasion of End of his Tenure

Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Bilateral Relations Mr. Mohammed Hussein Mohammed Bahr Al Ulum, received Ambassador of the Czech Republic Mr. Peter Štepánek at the Ministry’s headquarters, on Monday, July 15, 2024.

The meeting reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries, and emphasized the importance of increasing the volume of cooperation in all fields. Undersecretary Bahr Al Ulum expressed his sincere thanks for the efforts exerted by the Ambassador during his tenure in Iraq, wishing him every success in his new duties.

On his part, Ambassador Štepánek extended his thanks for the support and assistance provided by the Foreign Ministry, which successfully facilitated the tasks of the Embassy in Baghdad. He also expressed his happiness for the welcome and hospitality he received during his tenure in Iraq, stressing the need for continued cooperation between the two countries to achieve common interests.
