Iraqi Ambassador in Riyadh and Chairman and Members of Parliamentary Friendship Committee Meets Saudi Minister of Commerce

Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ms. Safia Talib Al souhail, accompanied by Chairman of the Iraqi Saudi Friendship Committee in the Iraqi Parliament Mr. Shalan Al Karim, and his accompanying delegation, met with Saudi Minister of Commerce Mr. Majid Abdullah Al Qasabi, Chairman of the Iraqi-Saudi Coordination Council on the Saudi side.

The meeting reviewed the legislative efforts made in the Iraqi Parliament to frame cooperation between the two countries, and opportunities for strengthening bilateral relations and partnerships between the Republic of Iraq and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia across various fields. They also touched on the ongoing preparations to host the Iraqi-Saudi Coordination Council meetings in Baghdad in the last quarter of this year.

This meeting is part of the Iraqi-Saudi Friendship Committee in the Iraqi Parliament’s visit to the Kingdom from July 7 – 13 July 2024.
