Undersecretary for Bilateral Relations Meets Director of Clingendael Academy in The Hague

Undersecretary for Bilateral Relations Ambassador Mohammed Hussein Mohammed Bahr Al Ulum, met with Director of Clingendael Academy Mr. Ron Ton, at the Academy’s headquarters, on the sidelines of his visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands. During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation between the Academy and the relevant Iraqi institutions, in addition to its role in building capabilities and providing training courses to the Iraqi side, in this regard, Undersecretary Bahr Al Ulum thanked the Institute’s Director for the efforts it exerted to enhance the skills of Iraqi employees in various fields, referring to the memorandum of understanding between the Academy and the Foreign Service Institute in the Iraqi Foreign Ministry.

On his part, the Director of the Academy thanked Ambassador Bahr Al Ulum, for his visit to the Academy, commending the Ministry’s role in developing the capabilities of its employees in various fields. He also explained the Academy’s role in supporting the development of the capabilities of the Iraqi security forces in cooperation with the Iraqi authorities, through cooperation with NATO, calling for strengthening the partnership between the two sides.
