Undersecretary for Bilateral Relations Receives Bahraini Ambassador to Iraq

On Monday, June 10, 2024. Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Bilateral Relations, Ambassador Mohammed Hussein Mohammed Bahr Al Ulum, received the Ambassador of Bahrain in Baghdad, Mr. Khalid Ahmed Al Mansour, at the Ministry’s Headquarters on the occasion of assuming his duties as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Republic of Iraq. During the meeting they discussed strengthening bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, and issues of mutual concern. The Undersecretary highlighted the historical, cultural and religious ties between the peoples of the two countries, and the importance of expanding the frameworks for cooperation across various fields in light of the security and political stability in Iraq.

Undersecretary Bahr Ul Ulum, expressed the Foreign Ministry’s support for the success of the Bahraini Embassy in Baghdad, in addition to he welcomed Ambassador Khaled Ahmed Al Mansour, wishing him success in his term in Baghdad, affirming his important role in developing bilateral relations between the two countries.

At the end of the meeting, the Bahraini Ambassador extended his thanks for the hospitality and support provided by the Foreign Ministry to ensure the success of the diplomatic mission in Baghdad, emphasizing the continuation of work cooperation, to further advance bilateral relations to higher levels, and achieve the common interests of the two countries.
