Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Meets Saudi Foreign Minister 

On Friday, May 31, 2024.  Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein, met with his Saudi counterpart, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, on the sidelines of the 10th Ministerial Conference of the Chinese – Arab States Cooperation Forum, in Beijing. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, regional issues, and the latest developments in the Palestinian arena, stressing the need to find solutions to stop the risk of expanding war in the region. 
The two parties also exchanged views on the peace conference scheduled to be held in Switzerland in mid June to stop the war in Ukraine. 

In addition to, both sides agreed to continue discussions at bilateral level, as Prince Faisal bin Farhan extended an invitation to Minister Fuad Hussein to visit Riyadh in the near future.
