Undersecretary for Political Planning Meets Representatives of United Nations Development Program Office

Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Planning Affairs, Ambassador Dr. Hisham Al Alawi, met with Mr. Mamunur Rashid, Deputy Head and portfolio Manager of Environment, Energy and Climate Change, and Ms.Yulia Isaeva, Director of the Environment and Climate Department at UNDP Iraq. 

During the meeting they discussed mechanisms for strengthening partnership in the field of environment, climate and water. In addition to they agreed on hosting a workshop by the Foreign Ministry next month that includes national institutions dealing with climate and water,  as well as representatives of the United Nations Development Program to discuss details of practical steps for joint cooperation in the future.
