Undersecretary for Bilateral Relations Receives Ambassador of Sultanate of Oman to Mark end of his Tenure in Iraq

 Undersecretary for Bilateral Relations, Mr. Mohammad Hussein Mohammad Bahr Al-Ulum, received the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman Hamid bin Ahmed Aidroos who completed his term in Iraq, at the Ministry’s Headquarters, accompanied by the Chargé d’Affairs Mr. Mahmoud Khalsawi, who will replace him on Monday, May 27, 2024.

During the meeting they reviewed the progress of bilateral relations between the two countries with a focus on the economic aspect,  In addition to, Oman’s Ambassador praised the development taking place in infrastructure projects and services in Baghdad, stressing his country’s government’s desire to participate in this development.
On his part, Undersecretary Bahr Al-Ulum expressed his gratitude for the efforts made by the Omani Ambassador during his term in Iraq, wishing success for his replacment Mr. Mahmoud Khalsawi, in his new mission. The Omani Ambassador expressed his thanks and gratitude for the cooperation he witnessed during his work in Iraq, stressing his government’s desire to strengthen ties between the two brotherly countries, expressing his happiness at the welcome and hospitality he received during his tenure in Iraq, stressing the continuation of cooperation between the two countries to achieve common interests. The meeting was attended by the Head of Arab Department Mr. Osama Mahdi Ghanem.
