Ambassador of Republic of Iraq to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Visits Digital Cooperation Organization

The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Safia Taleb Al Souhail, visited the Digital Cooperation Organization headquarters in Riyadh.

During the visit Ambassador Al Souhail met with Her Excellency Ms. Deemah Al Yahya, Secretary General of the Digital Cooperation Organization, where they discussed the prospects for future cooperation and the opportunities available to enhance coordination between Iraq and the Organization and the possibility of Iraq becoming a member in the organization. The Ambassador also listened to a brief presentation on the organization’s most prominent initiatives aimed at developing the digital economy in member states.

Ambassador Al Souhail toured the organization’s departments, where the Ambassador and her accompanying delegation were briefed about the activities and tasks carried out by the organization’s employees. At the end of the visit Ambassador Al Suhail thanked the Secretary General for the warm reception and wished her continued success, expressing her aspiration for working together to enhance cooperation and invest the available opportunities of the organization’s development initiatives and programs.
