Undersecretary for Political Planning Receives Prime Minister’s Media Advisor

Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Planning Ambassador Dr. Hisham Al Alawi, received in his office Mr. Dhia Al Nasiri, Media Advisor to the Prime Minister on Wednesday, April 24, to discuss areas of cooperation and joint coordination to integrates with Media effort of the Prime Minister’s Office.

During the meeting the Undersecretary stressed the importance of using appropriate media tools to convey the positive image and the accomplishments of the Government in various political, economic and development fields, and the necessity of strengthening media performance to change the previous negative stereotype of the Iraqi reality in light of the positive developments and immense progress achieved by the government of Mr. Mohammed Shia al-Sudani.

Meanwhile, Mr. Al Nasseri held a workshop in the presence of the Ministry’s Media Department staff, during which he provided a detailed explanation of the role of state media in this crucial phase, reviewing his experience in this area.

At the end of the meeting, the attendees exchange opinions on important issues in the field of media, in addition to optimal ways to raise the level of communication and joint work between ministries and state institutions, in order to achieve the desired objectives.
