Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Meets Canadian Speaker of the House of Commons

On Tuesday, March 19, 2024, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein, met with the Speaker of the House of Commons of Canada Mr. Greg Fergus, at the Parliament building in the Canadian capital Ottawa, as part of his official visit to Canada.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance them across all sectors in a way that would be in both friendly peoples’ interests, in addition to discussing the ongoing situation in the region.

Minister Hussein extended an invitation to Speaker Greg Fergus, for visiting Iraq to strengthen parliamentary relations and benefit from the Canadian democratic experience.
