Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Meets Iraqi Embassy Staff in Ottawa
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein, met on Monday, March 18, 2024, with the staff of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Ottawa.
During the meeting, the Minister underlined the importance of the relations with Canada, indicating that it’s one of the first countries to stand with Iraq in its war against Daesh terrorist groups, stressing the necessity of working to develop bilateral relations between the two countries in all fields. Minister Hussein, was briefed on the conditions of the Iraqi community in Canada, calling on the embassy staff to provide the best services to the Iraqi community in the country, and find solutions to the problems they face.
