Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Receives a Phone Call from United Arab Emirates Foreign Minister

On Thursday, March 14, 2024, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein, received a phone call from His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates. The call discussed the developments of the latest events in Palestine, and the UAE’s initiative of sending a ship carrying humanitarian aid to northern Gaza, which represents an important first step in delivering aid to northern Gaza to support international relief efforts there. 

On his part, Minister Hussein appreciated the initiative, indicating its importance at the current stage, while emphasizing the need to continue cooperation and coordination between the two countries in various areas, especially the international efforts aimed at ending the humanitarian tragedy in Gaza.
