Undersecretary for Administrative and Technical Affairs Receives Turkey’s Ambassador to Iraq

On Thursday, February 22, 2024, the Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Administrative and Technical Affairs Dr. Ahmed Nayef Rashid Al-Dulaimi, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Iraq Mr. Ali Reza Guney, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Baghdad.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them to serve the interests of the two neighboring countries, as well as developments and issues taking place in the region

Mr. Al-Dulaimi, stressed the importance of boosting relations in a variety of sectors, emphasizing Iraq’s keenness to coordinate and cooperate at political, security and economic levels, highlighting the necessity of exchanging official visits to discuss topics of common interest.

On his part, the Turkish ambassador extended his thanks for the support provided by the Foreign Ministry to the Turkish embassy, which contributed to the success of its work in Iraq.
