Iraq’s Chargé d’Affaires in Jakarta Meets Indonesian Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs

The Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Jakarta Dr. Ammar Hamid Alkhalidi, met with Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Mr. Pahala Nugraha Mansury, on February 23, 2024, at the Ministry’s headquarters. During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance economic cooperation and bilateral relations between the two countries, and the reconvening of the Iraqi-Indonesian joint Commission, as well as the participation of the Indonesian Oil Company Pertamina in the upcoming licensing rounds for the year 2024, in addition to the completion of procedures related to a number of memorandums of understanding and agreements between the two countries.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Bagus Hendraning Kobarsyih, Director of Middle- Eastern Affairs at the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the President of the Indonesian Oil Company Pertamina.
