Head of Human Rights Department Receives Deputy Heads of EU, Finland and Spain Missions to Iraq

 
The head of Human Rights Department Ambassador Abdelkarim Touma Mahdi Kaab received the Deputy head of the delegation of the European Union to Iraq Mr. David Healy and the Political Advisor at the delegation Ms. Claudia Spinelli, in addition to the Deputy head of the Finnish Embassy Ms. Liisa Maunula, and Deputy head of the Spanish Embassy Ms. Maria de los Reyes.
During the meeting, they emphasized on exchanging experiences regarding women’s issues and human rights in Iraq and the world.
Mr. Healy presented an initiative submitted by the European Union to mobilize the Iraq’s Government support to the European Union during the sixty-eighth session of the Commission on the Status of Women.
