Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Holds a Phone Call with Saudi Foreign Minister

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein held a phone call with His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on Thursday, February 1st, 2024.
During the call, the two sides discussed the recent attack on an American military base in Jordan and its repercussions, as well as reviewing possible scenarios related to the security and military situation in the region. Minister Hussein, called for continued communication and coordination between Baghdad and Riyadh, in order to keep the threat of all-out war away from the region, and safeguarding the security of the two countries.
