Undersecretary for Political Planning Hosts Ministry of Planning Undersecretary at the Foreign Service Institute

the Undersecretary for Political Planning Affairs Dr. Hisham Al-Alawi hosted the Ministry of Planning Undersecretary Dr. Azhar Hussein Saleh, at the Foreign Service Institute headquarters in Baghdad. On Wednesday, January 31, 2024.
The Undersecretary invited Dr. Azhar Saleh to give a lecture to the students of the 28th Diplomatic Course which is currently held at the Foreign Service Institute, within a series of meetings with senior figures to benefit from their expertise in managing government institutions and present their experiences to the students of the diplomatic course, Dr. Al-Alawi stressed the importance of these meetings, pointing out the necessity of strengthening cooperation between the Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of Planning by benefiting of the Ministry of Planning in training the ministry’s Staff.
On her part, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning reviewed during the lecture the challenges and problems facing the implementation of government development plans, and the Ministry’s innovative plans to address the challenges, pointing to the future plans of the Ministry, including the digital transformation program, and how to use loans to implement vital projects to serve the country.
At the end of the lecture, Ministry of Planning Undersecretary answered the questions of the attendees, wishing for continued cooperation between the two ministries for considering them as one of the basic pillars of implementing the government program.
