Undersecretary for Bilateral Relations Meets Chancellor of China Diplomatic Academy

Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Bilateral Relations Ambassador Muhammed Hussein Muhammed Bahr Al-Ulum met with the Chancellor of China Diplomatic Academy Mr. Wang Fan, the meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Beijing Mr. Shorsh Khaled Saeed.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed developing the horizon of bilateral cooperation between the Academy and the Iraqi Foreign Service Institute, as well the possibility of re-activating the cooperation agreement signed between both sides in 2001 for the purpose of organizing specialized training courses for diplomats from both countries in the fields of negotiations, strategic planning, economics and protocol, in addition to include a number of the students of the 28th diplomatic training program, in a comprehensive diplomatic training courses in Beijing for a specific period, in addition to including the employees of both countries in programs for learning Chinese and Arabic languages.
