Undersecretary for Political Planning Attends Symbolic Funeral Ceremony for Yazidi Victims of Sinjar

 Under the patronage of His Excellency Prime Minister Mr. Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani, and designated by the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein, the Undersecretary for Political Planning Affairs Ambassador Dr. Hisham Al-Alawi attended the symbolic funeral ceremony of the Yazidi martyrs who were killed by Daesh terrorist gangs. The Ceremony was held at the Martyrs Memorial (Al Shaheed Monument), on January 22, 2024, in the attendance of the Minister of Immigration and Displacement Ms. Evan Faiq, Head of the Martyrs Foundation, prominent government figures, representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Baghdad and the families of martyrs and victims.The attendees recited Surah Al-Fatihah for the souls of the victims, affirming their permanent loyalty to the victims of the genocide and their families from the Yazidis.
