Undersecretary for Multilateral and Legal Affairs Meets Somali State Minister for Foreign Affairs

Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Multilateral and Legal Affairs Mr. Omer Al-Barzanji, met with State Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Federal Government of Somalia Mr. Ali Mohamed Omar, on the sidelines of the Ministerial preparatory meeting of the 19th Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) summit, in Uganda’s capital, Kampala, from 17 – 18 January 2024, the meeting was attended by the Head of International Organizations and Conferences Department Mr. Fadel Alrahim and the chargé d’affaires ad interim at the embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Nairobi Mr. Akram Jameel Sulaiman.

During the meeting they reviewed ways of advancing cooperation and coordination relations in the multilateral international arenas, especially in field of combating terrorism, in a way that serves the common interests of the two countries.
