Undersecretary for Political Planning Affairs Receives the Pakistani Ambassador to Iraq
The Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Planning Affairs Ambassador Hisham Al-Alawi, received the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Iraq Mr. Muhammad Zeeshan Ahmed, at the Ministry’s headquarter in Baghdad.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance them between both countries, exchanging high-level visits, advancing cooperation in the health, trade, cultural and tourism fields.
Dr. Al-Alawi, highlighted the interest of the current government in opening a number of new embassies and consulates in various countries, pointing out to the economic plans of the current government that led to the developments that Iraq is witnessing today, and its interest in enhancing stability and reducing tensions in the region.
On his part, the Ambassador Ahmed, affirmed his government’s efforts to extend high-level invitations to visit Islamabad, and its desire to facilitate the entry of Pakistani citizens into Iraq.
