Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Receives French Ambassador to Mark the end of his Tenure in Iraq

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein, received the French Ambassador Mr. Éric Chevalier, to mark the end of his tenure in Iraq on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.

Minister Hussein extended his thanks to Ambassador Chevalier for his effective role in strengthening bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, appreciating his diplomatic efforts, and commended him on his professionalism and commitment during his tenure in Iraq. As well His Excellency wished him success in his future endeavors.

On his part Ambassador Chevalier expressed his happiness for working in Iraq, and extended his thanks for the cooperation of the Foreign Ministry which facilitated his work in Iraq.
