Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Ankara Celebrates the Occasion of the 103rd Founding Anniversary of the Iraqi Army

The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Ankara under the auspices of Ambassador Majid Al-Lachmawi, held a special ceremony on the occasion of the 103rd founding Anniversary of the valiant Iraqi Army on January 8, 2024.
The Ceremony was attended by the Military Attaché, an elite group of Iraqi citizens and officers residing in the Republic of Turkey, as well a number of Iraqi Army heroes who are wounded and are receiving medical care in Turkish hospitals.
During the Ceremony Ambassador Majid Al-Lachmawi, delivered a speech, congratulating the great Iraqi Army, its leaders, officers, and all ranks, saluting their heroism and sacrifices.
The Iraqi schools in Turkey as well participated in the Ceremony and their students presented a number of activities that embodied the stories of heroism and courage recorded by the members of our armed forces in their war against Daesh terrorist groups.
