The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs chairs the third session of the Ministerial Council for Economy
Today, Monday, December 5, 2022, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Fouad Hussein chaired the third meeting of the Ministerial Council for Economy, in the presence of the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Planning, Ministers of Finance, Trade, Industry, and Agriculture, the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, the Governor of CBI, and the Chairman of the National Investment Commission. The Council discussed the economic issues on its agenda, and also discussed the importance of developing a comprehensive economic strategy that includes the development of the industrial, agricultural, and commercial investment sectors.
At the end of the meeting, the Minister directed the completion of the draft law of the state’s general budget in order to vote on it in the Council of Ministers, and then submit it to the Iraqi Council of Representatives for the ratification of the draft law.
