Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs meets his Greek counterpart in Abu Dhabi

On Saturday, 5/11/2022, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Fuad Hussein, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Greece, Mr. Nikos Dendias, in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi, on the sidelines of his participation in the work of the thirteenth session of the Sir Bani Yas Forum, which is organized by UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

During the meeting, they discussed opportunities to enhance prospects for joint cooperation in various fields to serve the interests of the two friendly countries and peoples.

A number of files of common interest were also discussed, in addition to developments on the regional and international arenas, and they exchanged views on them.

During the meeting, the two sides stressed the importance of working on developing economic relations by strengthening cooperation in the fields of energy, transport, infrastructure and tourism.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides agreed to arrange a visit by the Greek Foreign Minister to Iraq during the coming period, within the framework of strengthening bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
