Ambassador Nizar Al-Khairallah Presents His Credentials to the Director-General of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW)
Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Mr Nizar Al-Khairallah, presented his credentials to the Director-General of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), Mr Fernando Arias, as the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Iraq to the organisation.
The two sides exchanged views on means of mutual cooperation in the future, in line with Iraq’s policy and its aspiration to a world free of weapons of mass destruction, and its desire to follow the organisation’s policy which aims at combating the use, production and transfer of chemical weapons, as well as the destruction of chemical stockpiles that are illegally owned by countries, to prevent the outbreak of destructive wars whose damage would be not limited to the countries that use them, but to the entire world.
