Undersecretary for Ministry of Foreign Affairs Receives Italian Ambassador to Iraq

On Tuesday 6^th Sep 2022, the Undersecretary for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Safia Talib Al-Suhail, received the Italian Ambassador to Iraq, Mr Maurizio Griganti. During the meeting, the two sides discussed the cooperation and coordination between Iraq and Italy in all issues of common interest, and the progress of the political process in Iraq, in addition to the developments related to the holding of early elections. They also touched on the cultural cooperation between the two countries and the mutual visits in this regard, in particular the visit of the Secretary General of the Italian Ministry of Culture and the Director General of Italian Museums.

The Italian deputy Chief of Mission and the political advisor have attended the meeting.
