Undersecretary Mr Omar Al-Barazenchi; Iraq Continues to Make Efforts and Endeavors to Stop the Repercussions Resulting From the Syrian Crisis and Settle it by Peaceful Means
During his meeting with the ambassador of the Republic of Syria in Baghdad Mr Sattam Jadaan Al-Dandah, the Ministry’s Undersecretary for administrative, technical and Legal Affairs, Ambassador Omar Al-Barazenchi, has affirmed that Iraq continues to make efforts and endeavors to stop the repercussions resulting from the Syrian crisis and to settle them by peaceful means, in a way that realise aspirations of the Syrian people of safety, stability, progress and prosperity, pointing out to the depth of the bilateral relations between the two neighbouring countries, emphasizing Iraq’s desire to enhance the bilateral cooperation in various fields.
On his part, the Syrian ambassador expressed his congratulations to the Undersecretary on the occasion of assumption of his new position, affirming on the deep-rooted bilateral and historic relations between the two countries and the ways to enhance, develop and upgrade them at all levels, noting that the brotherly relations that bind the two countries have not been affected despite all circumstances as they are interconnected relations.
Mr Nofal Taha Al-Basri, Assistant Head of the Department of Arab Affairs and the Desk’s officer, Counsellor Qutaiba Khaled Salih, have attended the meeting.
