Undersecretary Confirms the Need to Enhance Cooperation and Partnership between Public and Private sector to Realise Economic and Cultural Diplomacy to Support the National Economy

Undersecretary Safiya Talib Al-Suhail affirmed the need to enhance the cooperation and partnership between the public and private sector in order to realise the economic and cultural diplomacy to support the national economy.

This came during her presidency of the meeting which was held at the Ministry’s headquarters on 24/08/2022 with a delegation from the Iraqi Banking Association and the Tamkeen Foundation for Economic, Cultural and Humanitarian Development, with the presence of members of the Economic Department at the ministry.

During the meeting, they emphasized the importance of opening up prospects for economic and development cooperation with the Iraqi private sector. The Undersecretary referred to the ministry’s plan to activate the Economic Department in the ministry, confirming the importance of communicating with government sectors concerned with the economic development in order to find cooperation mechanisms to attract investments to advance the economic and development reality through cooperation and coordination with all our missions abroad.
