Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign receives Swedish Ambassador to Iraq on the conclusion his duties

 On 8/11/2022, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign, Ambassador Safiya Talib Al-Suhail, received the Swedish Ambassador to Iraq, Mr Jonas Lofvan, on the conclusion of his task in Iraq.

 The Undersecretary extended her thanks to the Ambassador for his big role in strengthening the bilateral relations and developing bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, affirming the gratitude of the Iraqi people and government to the Kingdom of Sweden for its firm stance with Iraq and for embracing a large number of members of the Iraqi community.  

 At the end of the meeting, the Undersecretary commended the efforts made by the ambassador during his tenure in Iraq, wishing him success in his future duties, and welcoming the nomination of the new ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to Iraq, Ms Jessica Svardström.
