Iraq and the Czech Republic hold joint meeting to review Draft agreement of Double Taxation
The joint meeting of reviewing the articles of the draft agreement of double taxation and preventing tax evasion on incomes and revenues has been held between the government of the republic of Iraq and the Czech Republic at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters. The head of European department ambassador Safia Talib Al-Suhail headed the Iraqi side, and the Czech side was headed by the Czech ambassador to Iraq Mr Peter Stepanek, with the participation of the representative of the department of Europe and the Department of Legal affairs at the ministry, as well as representatives from the Iraqi ministry of Finance.
Ambassador Al-Suhail pointed out that this agreement is very important to enhance and develop common economic relations between the two countries, and also develop the cooperation in the area of taxation.
On his part, the Czech ambassador expressed his gratitude to the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Finance for holding this technical deliberative meeting on the above-mentioned draft agreement.
