Minister of Foreign Affairs: “We Look Forward to Develop Prospects for Cooperation with Serbia on All Fields”

During his meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Mr Nikola Selakovic, on the sidelines of the ministerial meeting of the International Coalition to Combat ISIS, which is being held in Marrakesh, the Kingdom of Morocco, Mr Fuad Hussein affirmed his aspiration to develop prospects for cooperation on all economic, agricultural, health, tourist, industrial, cultural and educational fields  between Baghdad and Belgrade, and to invite Serbian companies to contribute to investment in Iraq and projects to rebuild infrastructure destroyed by wars and ISIS. The Minister confirmed the importance of exchanging visits between officials from both countries in order to enhance these relations.

On another topic, the two sides discussed many topics and focused on the history and depth of the bilateral relations between the two countries on various fields and ways to develop and enhance them.

On her part, the Serbian Foreign Minister commended the efforts exerted by Iraq within the Arab Contact Group to end the ongoing war between Moscow and Kiev.
