Head of the Department of Protocol Receives Deputy Head of Turkish Mission in Baghdad

Head of the Department of Protocol, Dr Ali Shamran Hachim, has received Deputy Head of the Turkish Mission in Baghdad, Mr Koglu Qalafat. During the meeting, they affirmed the importance of the bilateral relations between the neighbouring countries and means to activate them on the basis of mutual interests.

The two sides confirmed the importance of the relations between Baghdad and Ankara. They also discussed the mechanism of creating prospects for cooperation on all levels in the interests of the two peoples, and working to overcome all difficulties faced by the embassy and general consulates of both sides in a way that serves the common interests.

On his part, Mr Qalafat expressed his thanks and appreciation to the head of the department for the warm reception and hospitality and the support and facilities provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs/ the Department of Protocol, to the Turkish mission.
